System Administrator

As a System Administrator - Mid at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, your responsibilities are:
- Provide Network design, implementation, System Administration (SA) and security requirement implementation of hardware and software to meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements for both Defense Security Services (DSS) and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) associated with all LAB products.
- Develop, document and maintain system architecture to the RMF requirements of a DOD contract.
- Develop test and verification plans for the systems and provide continuous improvements and upgrades to meet changing requirements.
- Familiarization with DoD Security Technical Implementation Guide (STIG).
- Install and configure Windows operating systems and other software to assure functionality secure environment.
- Assist with monitoring server infrastructure through monitoring software, anti-virus software and software distribution tools.
- Perform preventative maintenance for clients, including server updates, checking backups, anti-virus and application maintenance.
- Provide LAB test support as required.
- Working knowledge of Windows, Linux, Oracle basic administration tasks such as add and remove users in various roles, perform Active Directory User and Machine maintenance tasks, patches, etc. Cisco/Nexus network equipment familiarity desired
- RSA encryption key algorithm Multi Factor Authentication (MFA) knowledge. design and implementation
- Host Base Security Systems (HBSS) knowledge, design and implementation

Experience and Qualifications:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
Required Education and Years of Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master +3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience executing DoD STIGs (Security Technical Implementation Guides) for operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server 2016/2019, Redhat Linux 6,7,8)
- Experience in all aspects of Windows Desktop administration (e.g. application and services, troubleshooting, application configuration, networking, user accounts, Active Directory and/or security).
- Experience with Cisco switching, routing and firewall hardware and common network concepts such as LAN/WAN, perimeter, IPSec, routing/switching, packet filtering, IDS/IPS, authentication, cabling, and troubleshooting.
- Professional certificates in information assurance and/or cyber security
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required.
This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in policies and implementation of Risk Management Framework (RMF)
- Experience with the Ballistic Missile Defense System, Ground-based Midcourse Defense program and/or the Missile Defense Agency
