The Consumer Relations Specialist completes tasks under the direction of their direct supervisor and the State Program Director through the CDPAP program. The Consumer Relations Specialist monitors each program recipient’s ability to manage his or her program. Through daily interaction with consumers and personal assistants, the Consumer Relations Specialist builds relationships to support a positive consumer and personal assistant experience, as well as foster additional business and consumer referral opportunities.
- Maintains the confidentiality of program participants
- Conducts monitoring, supervision, and/or interventions of the Consumer as directed
- Completes the consumer admission/intakes as directed by the management team
- Documents relevant information in the consumer record
- Maintains the consumer record
- Assists the Field Support Team with contacting CDPAP Personal Assistants regarding annual worker requirements
- Assists the office operations team with time reporting issues and concerns
- Performs all procedures in an accurate and timely manner as directed by the management team
- Notifies the CDPAP Business Development Manager or Office Operations Leader of any concerns relating to each consumer. (Allegations, of Fraud, Misuse of services, and other relevant issues)
- Adheres to the standards, regulations, and procedures of the company, Medicaid, the New York State Department of Health and the Federal government
- Provides policy reeducation to consumers and personal assistants, as necessary
- Represents the company with a positive image at all times
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of participants
- Attends all required trainings and in-service programs
- Provides the highest level of customer service to program participants, vendors, and individual entities
- Consistently models the company’s philosophy of customer service and compliance
- Meets established company key performance indicators and improve gross profit
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Computer proficiency required
- Ability to accept direction and supervision
- Reliable transportation required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in the English language or other languages may be required
Salary/Wage Information:
$22.00 per hour plus $2000 annual bonus potential
