Job Summary
B&A is looking for a Salesforce Scrum Master to join a contract with a federal government client in support of an important mission. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Salesforce Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Scrum methodologies and Salesforce, guiding our Salesforce development teams to deliver high-quality solutions in alignment with business goals. The Salesforce Scrum Master will facilitate the Agile process, ensuring that the team follows Scrum principles and practices, while also removing impediments and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Organize and lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Ensure that all Scrum ceremonies are productive and focused.
- Mentor team members on Agile best practices and Scrum processes, fostering a self-organizing, high-performing team environment.
- Actively work to identify and remove obstacles that may be hindering the team’s progress. Liaise with other departments as needed to address cross-functional dependencies.
- Work closely with Product Owners, Salesforce Developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that user stories are well-defined, prioritized, and aligned with business objectives.
- Track and report on the team’s progress using Agile metrics (e.g., burndown charts, velocity). Ensure transparency and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
- Encourage the team to continuously improve by facilitating retrospectives and implementing actionable feedback to enhance team performance.
- Provide guidance on Salesforce best practices, ensure that the team’s development practices are aligned with Salesforce standards, and help resolve Salesforce-specific challenges.
- Assist in managing changes to project scope, ensuring that changes are documented and communicated effectively to all stakeholders.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
- At least 2 years of experience with federal project using Salesforce (CRM)
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
- Excellent knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including configuration, customization, and integration.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically.
Desired Skills
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, or other Agile project management software.
- Previous experience in a consulting or fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools in the Salesforce ecosystem.
Security Clearance
- Eligible to obtain a government clearance.
