SUMMARY:
The Manager 1 will provide leadership support in planning, organizing, and coordinating the activities of the windows Planning team. The team includes Principal Planner, 2 Schedulers and 3 MTO Planners, and reports to the Supply Chain Manager 3
This role also works with cross functional partners to develop and execute plans to improve customer delivery and total cost metrics in accordance with business strategy.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide oversight of the MTO, Planning, and Scheduling team, for daily execution, and backorder reduction and mitigation projects.
Develop the technical and analytical skills of the team and provide meaningful feedback and mentorship.
Build upon the current S&OP process in conjunction with the Principal Planner and stakeholders.
Empower and lead the team to drive continuous improvement activities for current processes, reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
Provide appropriate training, tools, guidance, coaching and feedback to team.
Sets clear expectations, direction, and priorities for the team.
Communicates and collaborates across functions such as Logistics, Receiving, Customer Service, Strategic Sourcing, and Supply Chain Operations.
Support and involve employees in identifying and permanently removing obstacles to performance excellence.

MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, engineering or related degree and 5 years’ experience in either supervisor or supply chain.
Solid understanding of systems and processes that support supply chain and manufacturing operations such as ERP, WMS
Demonstrated skills in written and verbal communication, facilitation and giving presentations.
Strong ability to inspire others to create energy.
Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, analytical, and conceptual skills
In depth knowledge in supply chain and lean methodologies, including in problem solving, data analysis, communication, and opportunity identification.
Experience with Supplier relations, materials ordering, and capacity planning

In 2024, Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $4,000 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
