As part of our Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit (SCU), you will play a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations, to facilities management.
This role is an incredible opportunity for a recent graduate or someone interested in entering the Aerospace Industry, to support the development of advanced RF products. This is a challenging and dynamic role responsible for supporting business proposals, identifying process improvement opportunities, driving capital projects, and supporting facilities strategy and planning.
The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.

- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and/or external customers

- Plan for manufacturing growth including floorspace allocation and location identification.
- Facilitate operational strategic planning efforts to identify purpose and long-term goals.
- Support the development of a strategic roadmap for future operations growth.
- Support senior level engineers and project managers with day-to-day execution and complex projects.
- Support Program proposals by identifying resource constraints and making capital expenditure recommendations.
- Track necessary program information by engaging with internal customers regularly.
- Maintain an intense focus and continuous presence to understand the work being performed.
- Identify issues and risks to ensure cost effective mitigation plans.
- Perform various analysis of the value stream to understand the work being done, ensuring proper layouts, and enabling successful program execution.
- Gain clear understanding of the internal processes to support improvement opportunities.
- Project manage end-to-end capital procurements which may include project evaluation, scoping and requirements gathering, equipment selection, implementation, and project closure.
- Build business case and justifications for capital asks, resources, and project funding
- Requirements gathering utilizing criteria matrixes, equipment lists, and chemical tracking and traceability documentation.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.

On-Site Work Environment: This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.
Working Conditions: - Work is performed in an office, laboratory, production floor, or cleanroom, outdoors or remote research environment.
- May occasionally work in production work centers where use of protective equipment and gear is required.
- May access other facilities in various weather conditions.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field is required.
- Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience. Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
- Able to use software systems: AutoCAD, MS Suite, MS Project
- Familiarity with and ability to teach the Lean Manufacturing tool set (6S, TPM, Value Stream Mapping, single piece flow).
- Proven interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as a team player.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills - Degree in Industrial Engineering is preferred.
- Low volume / high mix manufacturing experience is desired.
- Experience in facility expansion planning and design using the traditional Industrial Engineering tool set (block diagrams, material flow analysis, capacity planning, material handling systems, etc.) is desired.
- Basic understanding of financial analysis concepts and methods.
- Lean mindset and knowledge desired.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $64926 - $110374

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
