Job Description:
Develops, implements, analyzes, and administers results for a specialized HR function such as, compensation, benefits, HR systems, staffing, learning & development, international, other HR disciplines. Certification or advanced study within a recognized area of specialization is preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities:
This is a 6-month temporary assignment with the possibility to hire full-time position.
Conducts and participates in compensation surveys to ensure access to relevant market data for all benchmark positions.
Contributes to the administration of the merit and incentive programs in Workday to ensure accurate pay calculations for payroll processing.
Responsible for managing global incentive participation and communications in Workday.
Responsible for the maintenance and integrity of data housed in compensation-specific databases and systems.
Maintaining participation and calculating Short-term incentive payments
Assist in calculating deferred compensation payments and maintaining KBR’s Non-Qualified Plans
Respond to participant queries about their NQP elections and distributions
Assist with NQP enrollment process including providing newly eligible participant data and validating elections
Assist in validating and testing NQP data before and after transitioning to new administrator (Fidelity)
Manage LTI program, new grants, vesting of RSUs and exercises of stock options
Responsible for assisting in managing the Company’s Employee Stock Purchase Program
Facilitate quarterly dividend payments
Manage insider trading windows within stock administrative system and help prepare compensation tables for annual Proxy Statement.
Arrange employee training webinars with our financial wellness platform
Designs and produces standard and ad hoc reports in Workday and other systems for use in management decision making.
Follows, maintains and updates established guidelines, processes, and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance including SOX 404.
Facilitate requirements/scope documentation for application design specifically in the areas of Core and Advanced Compensation.
Participate in requirements definition, business process design and configuration, testing criteria, issues and recommendations for core and advanced compensation modules.
Create test scenarios, perform tests, document test results and coordinate/ assist the functional teams in performing the tests to ensure all processes work according to predetermined goals.
Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure that progress is maintained within expected guidelines and is completed on a timely basis.
Create dashboards and reports as requested in Workday.
Develop training documentation and toolkits for end users.
Create and load EIBs to facilitate compensation processes.
Assist with other compensation projects or duties as assigned by management.
Requirements/Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with at least 2-3 years of Compensation preferred and 1 year Workday experience preferred.
Stock administration experience preferred, experience working with Fidelity’s stock plan and non-qualified system a plus.
Affinity with Financial Data required.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel. Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical ability, attention to detail and written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment, interacting effectively with all levels of personnel, including management staff and support staff.
Ability to be a proactive, self-starter, who understands the details within a much larger context.
Ability to foster and maintain strong working relationships with end users, peers and leaders
Ability to multi-task and prioritize duties to achieve most critical business needs first and manage multiple projects in an organized manner.
