The Assistant Influencer & Affiliate Marketing Manager will support the development and execution of influencer – affiliate initiatives that drive business results across paid, earned, and owned channels. This position is responsible for translating marketing strategies into impactful influencer collaborations to enhance brand equity, engagement, and sales.
The Assistant Manager of Influencer & Affiliate Marketing must be able to manage large 360 campaigns and work across multiple teams internally and externally. The position will serve as a subject matter expert for influencer marketing, execution, and optimization. This position must be able to effectively manage multiple stakeholders and lead internal partners, external agencies, and a range of influencer partners and agents. The candidate must have knowledge and experience working in the creator/influencer space - specifically affiliate marketing - as well as relationship & talent management, social media, and relevant industry technology/software.
What You Will Do
- Partner with and lead cross-functional teams, including PR, Comms, Social, Brand Marketing, and Creative production, in an agile setting to execute and support influencer and affiliate initiatives aligned with Lowe’s strategies, ensuring an omnichannel experience.
- Indirectly lead peers, internal stakeholders, and agency partners to build and execute against detailed timelines that ensure all influencer programming will make in-market dates.
- Serve as the lead contact for agency partners, manage contracts with influencers, and cultivate meaningful relationships with creators, influencers, brands, and strategic partners.
- Partner with various marketing teams to ensure all influencer executions align with the strategy, showcasing our products, projects, and brand according to our style guide and tone while staying within budget constraints and managing activation finances efficiently.
- Serve as an internal subject-matter expert for contemporary influencer and affiliate marketing strategies, staying current on emerging trends and the evolving creator economy landscape.
- Manage influencer issue resolutions, providing recommendations to internal partners towards amicable solutions.
- Own content development for assigned workstreams, including conception, copywriting, and publishing, and creatively integrate influencer content/activations into cross-channel, digital marketing, and experiential activities.
- Identify and vet new influencers/creators by vertical and category and up-and-coming influencer personalities, trends, and communities—particularly in home and lifestyle categories.
- Grow the influencer/creator network and maintain a proprietary database with accurate records.
- Develop and manage affiliate programs in alignment with influencer marketing strategies, ensuring seamless integration of affiliate and influencer initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics, developing reports that provide actionable insights and optimize recommendations to enhance influencer programming effectiveness, ROI and the impact of influencer and affiliate collaborations on overall marketing performance.
- Continuously improve influencer-affiliate strategies by testing new approaches, analyzing results, and iterating based on data-driven insights.
- Collaborate with influencers to incorporate affiliate links and trackable codes into their content, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of affiliate-driven sales and engagement.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of affiliate marketing trends, tools, and best practices, applying these insights to optimize affiliate strategies and partnerships.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with affiliate networks and platforms, negotiating favorable terms and conditions to maximize program benefits.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure all affiliate and influencer agreements adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Develop training materials and conduct workshops for influencers on effective affiliate marketing techniques, fostering a collaborative and knowledgeable influencer community.
- Conduct regular audits of affiliate links and influencer content to ensure compliance with branding guidelines and promotional standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Digital, Public Relations, Communications or related degree and 5-7 Years Strong business acumen and analytical skills
3-5 Years Organic Social Media Marketing experience
1-2 Years Influencer Marketing experience
Preferred Qualifications
1-2 Years Experience leading social media, influencer and/or public relations at a retailer
1-2 Years Experience managing (directly or indirectly) people at an agency or retailer
