Essential Functions:
•The Market Delivery Team Lead (MDTL) will be responsible for the following:
• Models, communicates and reinforces Lowe’s Core Behaviors and SMART customer service expectations
• Thrives in an environment with lots of change and ambiguity, adapting and pivoting quickly when necessary to meet changing business, associate, or customer needs
• Has a basic but growing understanding of the role that each part of the business plays in driving profit and controlling expenses for the XDT
• Monitors and drives Market Delivery Associates to achieve key operational performance metrics
• Provides tools, resources and knowledge of systems and SOP’s where appropriate
• Makes confident decisions and escalates issues to leadership where appropriate
• Identifies barriers to operational processes or the customer experience and communicates those barriers to Leadership - implements solutions as required
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with other leaders and 3PL Teams to help drive overall XDT success
• Provide real time-time training and feedback to Market Delivery Associates including responsibility for onboarding of hourly associates in the location and overseeing the cross-training program
• Support inventory management in the XDT and provide feedback on shortages/overages
• Responsible for safety
• Supervise (when necessary) and provide direction towards XDT performance to Market Delivery Associates in the absence of Market Delivery Supervisors
• The Market Delivery Team Lead (MDTL) serves as a point of contact for warehousing and delivery teams on resolution of customer issues or escalates issues, if necessary. As a Team Lead, this position is also responsible for assisting Market Delivery Supervisors (MDS/Coaches) with daily administration, task delegation and managing the general functions of the XDT.
• The Market Delivery Team Lead (MDTL) is required to maintain a safe and secure work environment by conducting daily safety reviews, noting hazards, keeping areas clean and organized, and monitoring for potential theft or security risks. Lastly, the Market Delivery Team Lead (MDTL) is responsible for completing all other duties as needed.
Work Schedule
Work Schedule for the Market Delivery Team Lead requires morning, afternoon, and evening availability any day of the week. The XDT operates 7 days a week. Market Delivery Team Leads (MDTL) are required to work a pre-determined schedule, but this may be changed by management based on business needs. Requests to be scheduled off for a specific day requires advanced notification and approval by supervisor. Hourly Full Time: Generally scheduled 39 to 40 hours per week; more hours may be required based on business needs.
Minimum Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of relevant experience
Preferences:
• Associate's degree in Operations, Supply Chain or a related field
Pay Range: $19.70 - $24.60 per hour
