Job Description BAE Systems is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the Digital Architecture Team (DAT) in Nashua, NH. DAT develops software platforms that manage engineering and project data for multiple programs within Aerospace & Mission Systems (AMS). In this role, you will design, implement, test, and maintain software addressing specific customer needs through reusable, generalized capabilities, with a focus on backend services, automated data pipelines, and microservice architecture.
The ideal candidate has 2+ years of software development experience with distributed systems. You will take ownership of challenging projects from design through delivery, collaborate with technical and non-technical partners, and consistently deliver results for customers. Our team builds many services using a combination of Python, gRPC, and Protocol Buffers, so you will either have experience with or an interest in developing with these tools.
This is a hybrid role offering a combination of on-site and remote work, as well as the option to work a 9/80 schedule.
