About the Opportunity
The ID Operator works within the Assembly Potting department and is responsible for stamping serial numbers on assembled printed circuit boards per the standard operating procedure and production traveler instruction.
What You'll Do:
- Reviews work instructions on the Traveler to verify part number, job number, lot quantity and legend ink type; ensures that the previous operation was completed, signed and dated on the Traveler.
- Uses DosBox software to pull the tool number; verifies part number, quantity and revision against the traveler; writes down the system generated serial number
- Verifies shelf life of ID ink before use; mixes in accordance with mix ratio table as described on the SOP
- Uses the proper stamp to serialize the parts
- Bakes panels in accordance with bake and cure table per SOP
- Visually inspects panels and performs tape testing to ensure that the serial numbers are properly stamped with no lifting
- Informs Team Leader about any non-conformances
- Signs and dates traveler, logs job out on ProCIM and moves order to next process
- Assists in training individuals
- Performs all other duties as needed
What You'll Bring:
- Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as travelers, standard operating procedure, instructions and safety rules in English to the degree necessary to perform the job
- Must be detailed oriented and self-motivated
- Must be able to remain focused with minor interruptions
- Must be able to work overtime as required
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) (Preferred)
- Experience in printed circuit board (PCB) manufacturing environment (Preferred)
Please note that In addition to prolonged sitting, the work environment requires lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 20 pounds; as well as, keyboard/ten key, handling, and repetitive hand motion.
Schedule:
- 8-hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
Shift Available:
1st shift, Monday- Friday, 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
