Location: We are seeking a Walk Off Market Attendant for T-Mobile Park
Since the Inaugural Game on July 15, 1999, T-Mobile Park has gained a reputation locally, regionally and nationally as a terrific setting for baseball and a great place for baseball fans. Sweeping views of Seattle's downtown skyline, breathtaking sunsets over Puget Sound, combined with excellent views of game action from all angles give fans at T-Mobile Park an experience unequalled in Major League Baseball.
Principal Function:
The Walk Off Market Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guests receive an exceptional level of service within Sodexo Live!’s retail merchandise outlets and points of sale. The WOM Attendant may work at various locations throughout venue decks and concourses, including any autonomous transaction locations, typically within a sporting arena, as well as in-venue retail stores and/or standalone retail stores where sports-related merchandise is sold. The WOM Attendant will be standing for long periods of time.
The Walk Off Market Attendant will support Sodexo Live!’s goal to be #1 in Event Hospitality by upholding Sodexo Live!’s standards for handling credit card transactions.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Facilitate a seamless guest experience, stock/restock inventory on shelves, bring issues to supervisor/lead’s attention (for example, items not scanning), troubleshoot and assist guests as needed, including explaining how the technology works, set a good example for other team members, make sure breaks are taken appropriately.
- Confirming age verification and responsible alcohol service protocols.
- Ensure that deliveries are inspected, sorted, and stored/stocked as needed in their appropriate locations.
- Implement, support, and always maintain standards for workplace safety.
Qualifications/Skills:
Required:
- Must be able to interact verbally and listen attentively to co-workers and supervisors.
- Ability to follow written and oral direction.
- Ability to work under pressure and independently.
- Food Handler's Card and MAST required
Other Requirements:
- Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors, temperature extremes and excessive noise; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight; must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment.
Hours may be extended or irregular to include nights, weekends and holidays.
