The Azure Specialized (AzS) team is actively seeking an Executive Business Administrator to become an integral part of their leadership team, providing direct support to the Corporate Vice President (CVP) and his business. As our Executive Business Administrator, you will collaborate closely with the chief of staff and leadership team, providing seamless support in scheduling, travel arrangements, and team coordination. This role requires excellence in administrative tasks, the ability to operate at an executive level, and the finesse to interact with customers, partners, and Microsoft employees globally while maintaining confidentiality. The successful candidate is a self-starter with outstanding communication skills, capable of operating independently and professionally at all levels. Proficient time management, task prioritization, and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential, along with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to deliver accurate results autonomously.

- Provides strategic calendar management, and time planning support for CVP, including travel logistics management, trip preparation and expense reporting.
- Partner closely with the chief of staff to synchronize leadership rhythms (planning and execution of All Hands, AMA’s, Roundtables, etc.), as well as customer and partner engagements, to guarantee efficient coordination of commitments.
- Build and maintain working relationships with the CVP’s leadership team and other key business stakeholders to ensure strategic time management for the office. In addition, provide actionable business insights that enable effective management and decision-making.
- Lead and guide the extended AzS business administrator team by overseeing team meetings and implementing coaching and mentoring programs for both administrators and administrative managers as needed.
- Daily team support includes new hire set up, purchase of goods and services, and processing invoices.
- Headcount management, maintenance, and reporting, including managing and maintaining team aliases for the organization.
- Event planning, including oversight of budget and spending, and discretionary spend supervision and reporting.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years administrative, business support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on scheduling meetings/events, travel management, and administration work for executive level management.
- Experience partnering with business leadership and other executive administrators; experience supporting a global team, with remote employees, dealing with ambiguity in a timely manner.
- Experience using Microsoft productivity software including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint AND experience using OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, or similar collaboration tools.

- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
- Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience supporting an executive in a fast paced and complex environment, understanding the executive’s needs, and making appropriate decisions and requests on behalf of the executive.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Human Resources [HR], Marketing, Communications, Psychology, Sociology) OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience serving as mentor to others.
- 3+ years’ experience reviewing and managing administrative budgets (e.g., for events, morale, travel, training).
Business Support ATR-D - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $28.46 - $48.80 per hour. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $39.76 - $55.67 per hour.
