This role is part of Parametric's hybrid working model, which includes working in the office 2-3 days a week and choosing to work remotely or in the office the remaining days of the week.
ABOUT THE TEAM
The Investment Operations team at Parametric provides daily operational support to multiple Investment teams. They work closely with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate information is provided as well as facilitate all post-trade functions as needed. The team focuses on collaborating amongst each other to process all tasks throughout the day.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Investment Operations Specialist works closely with the team on ensure all sponsors have the most accurate models each day. The role focuses on implementing model changes across a wide range of sponsors in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the role may consist of facilitating trade orders to respective sponsor trade desks.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Provide critical business support for operational activities of Parametric's Investment Operations Team. Primary responsibility is to maintain high service levels while improving the operational infrastructure.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITES
- Provide functional support to portfolio managers, traders, and portfolio administrators for Parametric portfolios and order management systems.
- Responsible for ensuring daily activities, including client transactions, account maintenance, portfolio data reconciliation, and portfolio implementations are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Provide reconciliation support.
- Work with external partners across SMA sponsors on all client inquiries that impact workflows and investment process.
- Facilitate the accurate and timely delivery of critical business information between all necessary parties.
- Collaborate with fellow colleagues to ensure all daily SMA Muni fixed income functions are completed concisely each business day.
- Act as Business Owner of investment related data, cash activity reports, and daily account processing
- Execute and settle trades between Sponsors and Brokers on various trading systems.
- Work closely with IT to improve on automation and efficiency.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 to 3 years of operations and/or related experience
- Working knowledge of the financial services industry, investment products, and services
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with others implementing solutions
- Strong attention to detail with positive, enthusiastic attitude

Salary range for the position: $60,000-$90,000/Yr. The successful candidate may be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business unit's incentive compensation plan, which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
