The Mission Software Directorate is seeking an Inventory Manager / Government Property Specialist (LOG1704P2) to support the Counter-Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-sUAS) Engineering & Integration (E&I) program. The position will have primary responsibility for inventory management, accountability, control, and reporting of Government Furnished Property (GFP), equipment, tools, materials, prototype systems, and other property supporting the program's Systems Integration Laboratory (SIL), test range, engineering, integration, and sustainment activities.
The Inventory Manager will maintain accurate property and inventory records throughout the asset lifecycle, including receipt, identification, storage, custody, transfer, movement, reconciliation, and disposition. The individual will record and maintain applicable GFP information within the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) and support Government property accountability in accordance with applicable contract requirements and Department of Defense property management policies.
The position is responsible for supporting the program's required inventory accuracy of 98% or better for unclassified components and 100% accountability for classified components, conducting and supporting physical inventories, researching discrepancies, maintaining supporting records, and preparing the Government Property Inventory Report.
The Inventory Manager will work closely with Program Management, Configuration Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Security, SIL personnel, and Government stakeholders to maintain accurate visibility of program property and ensure equipment is available to support development, integration, test, and sustainment activities.
The individual will also provide hands-on inventory, equipment, and property support at the program's test range as needed, including equipment receipt, accountability, staging, movement, storage, inventory reconciliation, and preparation of equipment for integration and test activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory control and accountability for all Government Furnished Property (GFP), including equipment, tools, materials, prototype hardware, and other accountable property supporting the SIL, test range, and program activities.
- Record and maintain GFP information within PIEE and maintain supporting property records in accordance with contractual requirements, DoD property accountability requirements, and established Leidos processes.
- Maintain a minimum 98% inventory accuracy for unclassified components and 100% accountability for classified components, conducting physical inventories, reconciliations, and discrepancy investigations as required.
- Develop, maintain, and coordinate the Government Property Inventory Report, ensuring Government property records are complete, accurate, traceable, and delivered in accordance with contract requirements.
- Manage property throughout its lifecycle, including receipt, inspection, identification/tagging, storage, custody, issue, transfer, movement, shipment, return, and disposition while maintaining appropriate supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with Configuration Management and Engineering to maintain accurate identification and status of SIL hardware, equipment, and associated property supporting development, integration, test, and data-reduction activities.
- Provide hands-on inventory and property support at the test range and other program locations as needed, including receiving, staging, accountability, movement, storage, inventory reconciliation, and preparation of equipment and tooling for integration and test activities.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires BA degree and 2 – 4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing inventory, Government property, accountable equipment, or material within a Government, defense, engineering, logistics, or similarly controlled environment.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining accurate property and inventory records throughout the asset lifecycle, including receipt, identification, storage, custody, transfer, shipment, reconciliation, and disposition.
- Demonstrated experience conducting physical inventories, reconciling inventory records against physical assets, investigating discrepancies, and implementing corrective actions.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining Government property records or similar accountable-property documentation and preparing inventory or property status reports.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high degree of inventory accuracy and establish traceability of equipment, material, and accountable assets.
- Experience coordinating equipment and material movement between storage facilities, laboratories, test locations, field sites, suppliers, subcontractors, or Government organizations.
- Experience maintaining receiving documentation, custody records, transfer documentation, shipping records, inventory reports, and other property-control documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to independently manage inventory and property accountability activities in a dynamic technical environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with Program Management, Property Management, Configuration Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, Security, and Government stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other inventory, property management, or enterprise business systems.
- Ability to provide hands-on support for equipment receipt, inventory, staging, storage, and movement at the SIL, test range, and other program locations as required.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting Government Furnished Property (GFP) on Department of Defense contracts.
- Experience using the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) for Government property accountability or related functions.
- Familiarity with applicable FAR/DFARS Government property requirements and contractor property-control processes.
- Experience supporting property management within a SIL, engineering laboratory, test range, warehouse, or hardware integration environment.
- Experience supporting C-sUAS, force protection, DoD system integration, test, fielding, or sustainment programs.
- Experience preparing Government property inventory reports or other contractual property-management deliverables.
- Experience coordinating with Configuration Management to maintain alignment between physical assets, configuration records, and approved system baselines.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $52,000.00 - $94,000.00
