The Development Testing Consultant role will help to bridge communications and development efforts between the Front-end Web Development team and the RTM Testing teams. The goal of this position is to help assess the impact of incoming RTM Target test requests to ensure that the tests can be scaled in FED’s current development environment.
This role will be responsible for reviewing test requirements with Target team members and help to shape tests so that they can be implemented to scale within our Adobe AEM development environment. Applicants should have strong communication and diplomacy skills. Additionally, applicants must be able to review test requirements and perform an architecture and operational support impact assessment.
This role will work closely with the Target development team and help to transition scaled work to the Front-end development project teams.
Responsibilities include:
Level of effort estimation and impact sizing for successful Target test experiences.
Leading RTM and Target impact assessment discussions.
Collaborating with Target and RTM stakeholders to review requirements, scope work, and demo implemented code, and make adjustments as-necessary.
Guiding Front-end developers during scaling development.
Developing and consulting on multiple concurrent projects.
Performing technical feasibility assessments with Front-end Development Managers.
Collaborating with Project and Release Management resources to provide work estimates, establish timelines, communicate status, and coordinate testing and release activities.
Collaborating with IT and Platform resources on tool and architecture topics related to front-end development.
Participating in defining coding standards and ensure timely completion of code review.
Communicating project progress, status, risks, issues etc. to RTM and Business stakeholders. This includes providing status on a recurring basis as well as for special circumstances.

You'll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree or four or more years of work experience.
Four or more years of relevant work experience.
Experience with Adobe Experience Manager.
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, JSON, ReactJS, Git, Node, NPM, Webpack.
Experience managing stakeholder expectations on multiple projects while meeting timelines and being accessible to the team and organization as a whole.
Ability to participate in discussions with clients and team members about technical best practices and help teams identify optimal technical solutions.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Experience with Web Marketing and UX.
Experience with web testing efforts.
Proficient in G-Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Forms, etc).
Experience with JIRA.
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and participate in discussions focusing on best practices, user experience, functional requirements, etc.
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
