The full salary range for this role reflects the competitive labor market value for all employees in these positions across the national market and provides an opportunity to progress as employees grow and develop within the role. Some roles at Liberty Mutual have a corresponding compensation plan which may include commission and/or bonus earnings at rates that vary based on multiple factors set forth in the compensation plan for the role.

Description
Under moderate direction, reviews and analyzes moderately complex Line of Business Files (APD Inside, Small Commercial, RMD and Salvage) to determine compliance with claims handling standards. Assists and participates in calibration training, analysis of results, development of QI reporting and presentation of findings. Participates in operational RCPS events and provides support for implementation of improvements.
This position is being offered at a grade 11 - 13 based on experience.
Previous QI experience is preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Under some direction, conducts virtual and on-site quality and/or performance audits of claims files to include re-inspection of damages if appropriate.
- Analyzes all aspects of claims from notification to recovery.
- Determine compliance with claims handling standards, policies and procedures as determined by calibration.
- Under some direction, analyzes results and develops the necessary detail from audits conducted to assist the QI team in identifying the trends from an audit which, if corrected, would drive improvement.
- Accurately tracks and inputs audit findings into a database. Participate in calibration with File review team and analysis of overall results.
- Under some direction, participates in the preparation of results, conclusions and recommendations to field leadership.
- Support continuous improvements by providing feedback on audit process and tool changes that will result in a better product being delivered to the line of business. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor`s degree preferred or equivalent training plus minimum 2-4 years of directly related experience.
- Good written and oral communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Claims department procedures.
- Knowledge of assigned line of business, general insurance policy coverage and State Tort Law.
