The Opportunity
We are now recruiting for a CH-47F QFI to join the CISS Contract in Townsville to begin employment in Jan 2025. The QFI will work within the School of Army Aviation Chinook Wing.
Responsibilities
- CH-47F airborne instruction
- CH-47F synthetic instruction
- CH-47F ground instruction
- CH-47F general flying operations
- Related or associated flying, instructional and administrative tasks
- Maintaining flying currency and qualifications as required by AAAvn Command
- Promoting a safe and effective work environment
- Contributing to improvements in the performance of the team
Experience/Qualifications
Essential
- CH-47F QFI Category C
- CH-47F NVIS Command
- Group 4 Instrument Rating
- CASA CPL-H (or higher)
- Current CLASS 1 Medical
- Current CASA ASIC
- Able to obtain and maintain a Defence security clearance of Negative Vetting 1
Desirable Criteria
- CH47F QFI Category B/A
- Group 4 Instrument Rating Assessor
- CH-47F TFPS Instructor Operator Simulator
- CH-47F Maintenance Pilot qualification
- Simulator Reference Pilot
Physical Requirements
Boeing Defence Australia specific site positions will have physical requirements which are applicable. Physical requirements are outlined by the recruitment manager in consultation with the Environment Health & Safety Department. A formal assessment of the physical requirements will need to be completed through the Environment Health & Safety Department for specific roles which would then reflect into the position description.
