The Benefits Team Lead provides leadership, supervision, and expertise to the Benefits and Unemployment teams and is responsible for the quality delivery of customer service by these teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervises the Benefit and Unemployment teams and provides close direction and oversight of work performed by staff.
- Works cooperatively across teams and departments to provide quality customer service to field offices and co-workers.
- Monitors employee performance and development by conducting performance planning and reviews and coaching employees
- Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, streamline work processes and promote quality improvement.
- Assists with complex benefit functions tied to the Form 1095C and the benefit eligibility process
- Serves as the point of contact for benefits projects.
- Assists with the department’s research, in compliance with corporate policies and procedures, and statutory, regulatory, and ethics requirements.
- Keeps abreast of the Company’s benefits, including policies, eligibility rules, and general regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in Benefits preferred
- A minimum of 3 - 5 years’ experience in leadership preferred
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, etc.) required
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in the English language required
Pay Information
$65k - $78k a year + 6k annual bonus
