Position Purpose: The Receiving Clerk I will receive and route in accordance with policies all incoming supplies, materials, equipment, and records. All receipts will be documented in the receiving archive and the ERP system as required.

Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain and keep strict and complete records
- Verify items received to packing list and purchase order (part number, quantity, etc)
- Enter receiving traceability data into ERP system with the up most accuracy
- Perform review of purchase order requirements to all documents received
- Prepare documentation for receiving inspection and final processing
- Initial basic inspection of obvious flaws and alerting Receiving Inspection and Buyer
- Work closely with Buyer and Engineering to help resolve rejected component parts problems
- Move product to appropriate areas upon completion
- Keep positive traceability of product from unpack to completion
- Detect and report improper operation, faulty equipment, defective materials, and unusual conditions to your supervisor
- Maintain work areas and equipment in a clean and orderly condition
- Desire to learn process and parts in detail taking ownership of position/process
- Handle all items in safe and efficient manner
- Scanning and labeling of receiving documents
- Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas
- Identify and label materials, and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory
- Perform and report cycle counts
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications/Education:
- 2 years of previous receiving experience required
- 2 years of data entry experience preferred Strong organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Previous Administrative experience is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and willingness to learn new databases
- Effective communication, facilitation, and teamwork skills
- Must have a positive attitude and the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, strategic support units and the company
- Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education
Working Conditions:
This job operates in a professional office environment, but in a manufacturing company. This role uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, scanners, filing cabinets and fax machines. BCT anticipates the application window closing approximately 40 days from the date the notice was posted.
