Client Solutions Consultant
What does a successful Client Solutions Consultant do at Fiserv?
You will provide enterprise – level sales consultation with clients to proactively drive value-based technical solutions and capabilities. You will work with similarly positioned individuals who are employees at Bank of America who may have a broader remit than merchant solutions. You will also have the ability to influence product development leadership on the enterprise-level innovation road map strategy. Through thought-leadership, and technical-excellence in the sales and, hand off, to delivery of complex solutions encompassing multiple products and services, you are driving the overall success of Bank of America by optimizing their use of Fiserv capabilities.
What you will do:
- Work closely with the Bank of America sales team to provide full assistance in support of the successful achievement of sales targets while adhering to cost of sales objectives.
- Development of value-based proposals and technical architecture of proposed solutions; Document proposal of solution including technical design, potential implementation phases and work streams.
- Facilitate internal and external technical customer meetings to validate discovery and solutions, ensure smooth transition to servicing teams, and maintain consistent communication and messaging
- Gather and socialize within the Bank of America and Fiserv teams the client feedback to improve the customer experience and advise future product development.
- Participate in the development and completion of submitted RFI/RFP documents, prospect qualification, discovery and requirements gathering, product demonstrations, technical discussions, and design solution proposals.
- Promote and support sales opportunities into existing Bank of America accounts and help to ensure that customers are successful in their objectives.
- Be responsible for staying abreast of product roadmap and maintaining ability to effectively communicate roadmap to prospects and clients in support of business opportunities.
- Responsible for providing feedback from the market to Fiserv and Bank of America Product Management and Technology regarding products including identification of gaps between product functionality and market/customer demands.
What you will need to have:
- High School graduate/GED
- 5 years’ experience with financial institutions or technology vendors servicing financial institutions or merchants (e.g. - wholesale banking, investment management and brokerage services along with related Software experience).
- 2 years’ experience in sales, pre-sales or implementation of software solutions, ideally in a similar solution area.
- Ability to travel approximately 50%
What would be great to have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, finance, and/or related field or equivalent experience.
