This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Mountain View three times per week, at minimum.
The Role:
We are seeking an innovative, motivated, and experienced Technical Sr. Recruiting Manager to join our Talent Acquisition (TA) organization. This role will report to the Director of Experienced TA and will manage a team of TA Leads and 15+ recruiters. As a leader in General Motor’s People Organization, you will own the strategy and delivery of the Software Recruiting Function, which focuses on skillsets such as Software Development Engineers, AI, ML, Data Scientists, Data Researchers, Technical Program Managers, and Software Development Managers. You will support current and future projects and global implementations of recruiting tools.
Responsibilities:
- Results Orientation : Lead and develop a team of engaged TA leads, Technical Recruiters and Sourcers who strategically deliver on business hiring needs with speed, quality, and diversity.
- Strategic Orientation : Proactively partner with business, DEI, and HR leadership to understand future plans, recruiting implications of these plans, and develop effective strategies to attract, assess, and hire Technical talent in a differentiated way.
- People Leadership: Drive results and accountability for team and individual performance goals with a clear focus on metrics and data, and invest in continuous development around the skills and competencies of your team.
- Collaboration & Customer Focus : Build connectivity between and across TA, People org, and business to deliver a positive experience for internal and external stakeholders.
- Change Leadership: Lead with data, analytics, and actionable insights to drive operational excellence and systems capable of scaling. Be the catalyst for bridging the gap between General Motors and industry technical talent acquisition.
- Market Knowledge: Be informed and curious about industry trends, market conditions, and best practices in talent acquisition to enhance the recruitment experience; and understand how to apply those trends.
