Overview
The Distribution Customer Relationship Manager is responsible for achieving sales goals in a specific geographic territory. Other key responsibilities include: identifying and targeting new customers, implementing vertical market strategies, engaging in community business events. This position will report to the Director of Warehouse Operations.
Responsibilities
- Generate new account business
- Sell to senior supply chain executives
- Develop and close sales leads
- Develop and deliver customer presentations
- Retain and grow existing customer base
- Negotiate contract terms, contract structure and product lines
- Develop proposals and build customer solutions
- Partner and collaborate with Operations, Solution Design, IT, Real Estate
- Manage key administrative tasks
Qualifications
- High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred
- Experience in Distribution/fulfillment center, preferred
- 3PL experience preferred.
- Computer applications using MS Office based software.
- Must be flexible in adapting to changing environments
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate and negotiate with corporate level staff
- Proficient in relationship building throughout clients to include C-level executives
Other:
- Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and holidays as needed by the customer.
- Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours.
- Regular bending, lifting, stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Walking in the facility and around area with great frequency; facilities are over a quarter mile in length.
- Should be able to work in environments with variable noise levels, lighting conditions and temperature variation and able to access all areas of building without limitations.
We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000.00. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, targeted at 5%. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
