This Senior Project Manager will lead our team in legacy web application assessments and migrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle, Java, Sybase technologies, as well as experience with migrating legacy web applications and expertise in WebLogic. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Plan, lead and manage the end-to-end assessment, documentation, and migration project for legacy web applications, ensuring timely and successful delivery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, architects, and business stakeholders, to define migration strategies and objectives. Conduct thorough assessments of legacy web applications, identifying potential risks, dependencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop comprehensive migration plans, including timelines and milestones, as well as level of effort projections, resource allocation, and managing within budget requirements. Coordinate and oversee the execution of migration activities, ensuring adherence to established plans and timelines. Monitor project progress, identify and report risks, through regular program and stakeholder updates. Collaborate with technical teams to address technical challenges or issues that arise during the migration planning and/or execution. Ensure compliance with industry standards, best practices, and security requirements throughout the migration process. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior project managers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices related to legacy web application assessment and migration. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 10+ years of proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in legacy web application assessments and migrations. Expert ability to build relationships across multiple teams and job roles. Strong knowledge and experience with Oracle, Java, Sybase technologies, and migrating legacy web applications. Expertise in WebLogic and its deployment in web application migrations. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality results. Familiarity with industry standards, best practices, and security requirements related to legacy web application assessment and migration. Preferred Qualifications: A Master's degree is preferred. Project Management certifications (e.g., PMP) are a plus. Demonstrated ability to present to senior leadership and client audiences. Experience with Agile processes and ceremonies. Clearance Requirements: Must be a US citizen and pass a background investigation. Able to obtain and maintain a DHS Suitability/Entry on Duty (EOD) Physical Requirements: Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office. The projected compensation range for this position is $119,900-$172,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
