Overview
BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Floor technicians are responsible for understanding the difference between black, green, white and a hog’s hair pads. Floor technicians should acquire all equipment needed to perform the job properly before the shift. A floor tech is responsible for keeping floors aesthetically pleasing and free from harmful microorganisms. Duties may vary dependent upon the needs of the company.

Floors – Sweeping, mopping, stripping, polishing, burnishing, scrubbing, and removing wax on flooring throughout the concourses.

Spills: Place spill tent. Clean spills immediately.
Other Duties - Depending on the assigned area and the number of teammates, the employee may be responsible for any or all the following tasks in any designated area: cleaning, sanitizing, replenishing, replacing, sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and emptying. Duties may also change throughout the employee’s employment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk and stand; Climb; Bend forward; Kneel; during their assigned shift. Ability to lift, carry, push/pull and transport 5+ pounds at least 75% of the shift to complete physical tasks related to responsibilities.
