- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience in management consulting, operations, business strategy, or corporate advisory, or 4 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 3 years of experience working with executive stakeholders.
- 2 years of experience developing business strategies or managing cross-functional initiatives.
- MBA or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in strategic initiatives driving innovation and value for the organization.
- Knowledge of procurement processes, strategies, and with digital technologies and their applications in procurement.
- Ability to inspire and influence cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives.
- Ability to build a culture of continuous improvement by promoting innovation, soliciting feedback, and implementing best practices.
- Excellent strategic planning and analytical skills, with the ability to translate organizational goals into plans and initiatives.
In the Google Procurement Organization (GPO), the team works to bring velocity, efficiency, and security to buying at Google, while partnering across Google to deliver solutions fit for purpose. Within the Google Procurement Organization, the Functional Strategy and Transformation team supports GPO’s ongoing transformation through program and change management.
In this role, you will serve as a Strategy Manager, you will develop and help drive GPO's strategic roadmap to drive digital transformation, enhance organizational capabilities, and incubate strategic initiatives to create value for the organization.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $134,000-$198,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. - Collaborate with GPO and cross-functional leadership to develop and manage a multi-year strategic roadmap aligned with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
- Support identification of opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation through procurement strategies, and support efforts to integrate digital technologies into procurement processes and systems to enhance efficiency.
- Help identify capability gaps within the procurement organization and develop plans to enhance capabilities through operating model programs, evaluate and incubate strategic initiatives that have the potential to drive innovation and create value for the organization.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, department heads, and executive management to understand their needs and priorities and align procurement strategies accordingly.
