Position Overview
Kiewit Infrastructure Engineers (KIE) has an opening for a dynamic Environmental Manager with a strong focus in construction environmental planning, scheduling, budgeting, and compliance for large infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex infrastructure projects in the U.S. and demonstrated experience with construction environmental project management. An ability to research, identify, and understand federal and state regulations, is critical. We are looking for someone with proven experience in task or project management and subconsultant management. The person in this position will work with diverse, multi-disciplinary teams composed of internal peers, clients, and subconsultants.

Location
This position is based out of our Lone Tree, CO office.
Responsibilities
• Reviewing environmental documents, RFPs, and other approvals
• Developing strategy for project-wide scheduling and estimating
• Leading environmental planning and permitting processes and document preparation for infrastructure clients
• Serving as technical lead for a variety of infrastructure projects during conceptual planning and design through environmental approvals and permitting.
• Developing documents that meet the requirements of environmental regulations and codes such as the Clean Water Act, National Historic Preservation Act, Endangered Species Act, Rivers and Harbors Act, National Environmental Policy Act, and various state and local codes and regulations.
• Preparing technical plans, studies, written reports, and environmental documents in support of environmental permitting and approvals for transportation and other projects
• Performing quality reviews of deliverables to client requirements to ensure high-quality products are produced on time and budget.
• Preparing and managing environmental scope, schedule, and budget for a variety of infrastructure projects across the U.S. and North America in cooperation within KIE and other Kiewit organizations.
• Providing guidance and support to less experienced staff on technical and professional issues.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, or equivalent field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience
• Mastery of Microsoft Office 365 products to perform assigned tasks.
• ESRI ArcGIS skills preferred but not required.

Base Compensation: $100,000/yr - $145,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
