About the Role
As a CBRE Supply Chain Manager, you will manage a team responsible for the supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods.
What You’ll Do
Provide formal supervision, training, and development to employees. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department target dates. Mentor and coach as needed.
Plan and install national contracting and procurement strategies. Prepare and maintain contracts with national service providers by company standards. Establish relationships with suppliers and contractors.
Mediate contracts at a mid to senior level.
Help to build standardized systems and controls for procurement this includes request for proposals, documentation, work authorization, order systems, and supplier eligibility criteria.
Assist with the supplier certification process, including legal and organizational structure, financial viability, geographic coverage, and insurance requirements.
Support national sourcing processes and practices. Coordinate the flow of materials and information among suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and customers.
Establish requirements and ensure the integrity of centralized procurement database systems.
Serve as a point of contact for management and liaise with outside procurement solutions.
Implement educational programs and train employees in company-wide procurement procedures.
Engage in the development of company-wide policies and procedures, playbooks, and other organizational materials on procurement.
Provide clients with innovative technologies, products, and services to generate value and stay ahead of the competition.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
Improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards.
