Codale-Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals (STEP) Program

The Sonepar Training for Emerging Professionals Program (STEP) is a dynamic, intensive rotational program designed to educate, train, and develop skills in emerging professionals and help establish your career. You will get hands-on experience in every aspect of our business through on-the-job, e-learning, subject matter expert training, and residency trips. This rotational program includes site and corporate operations exposure, sales strategies, processes, procurement, project management, E-Commerce, Sonepar USA, and our Operating Companies’ business philosophy. After this dynamic program, you will have the opportunity to present to our Executive Leadership team on key strategic organizational initiatives.
The core rotations of this program are:
- Warehouse/Logistics
- Corporate, Industry Knowledge, and Workplace Partner
- Finance, Purchasing and Pricing
- Inside Sales/Counter/Storeroom
- Projects & Quotations
- Marketing/Digital Solutions/E-Commerce
- Outside Sales/Specialty Track
In addition to your rotations, you will also experience:
- Team-building activities with fellow emerging professionals
- All-expense paid travel to different company locations
- Enhanced understanding of our business through specialized training
Basic Qualifications
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, or a related degree preferred
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Possess an enthusiastic/self-starter attitude
- Excellent communication, time management and, leadership skill
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Flexible and adaptable team player
Program Start: June 2025
Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
Salary Range: 55k-60k annually
