Overview
The Account Supervisor is responsible for supporting daily janitorial operations and providing hands-on leadership to frontline employees within a multi-site customer account. This position works closely with the Account Manager and Assistant Account Manager to ensure employees are properly trained, supported, and meeting customer expectations for quality, safety, and service.
The ideal candidate is a dependable and responsive leader who can effectively communicate with employees and management, address operational concerns with a sense of urgency, and maintain a professional and respectful work environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision and direction to janitorial employees.
- Monitor employee performance and ensure cleaning standards and customer expectations are consistently met.
- Assist with onboarding and training new employees on job responsibilities, safety procedures, and account expectations.
- Conduct routine inspections and follow up on service or quality concerns.
- Respond promptly to operational issues and communicate concerns to account leadership when additional support is needed.
- Help ensure work orders and customer requests are completed accurately and within required timelines.
- Reinforce company safety policies, procedures, and proper work practices.
- Assist with identifying and reporting safety concerns, incidents, injuries, and near misses.
- Monitor staffing needs and communicate attendance or coverage concerns to management.
- Help maintain appropriate supplies and equipment needed for daily operations.
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with employees, customers, and individuals served at customer locations.
- Partner with the Account Manager and Assistant Account Manager to support overall account performance.

- Previous supervisory, team lead, janitorial, facilities, hospitality, or related service experience.
- Ability to lead, coach, and provide direction to frontline employees.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and a professional approach to resolving concerns.
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.
- Strong sense of urgency and the ability to respond quickly to time-sensitive operational needs.
- Basic computer skills, including the ability to communicate through email and use standard computer-based systems.
- Ability to work assigned schedule and support the operational needs of the account.
