Work Arrangement :
Hybrid: This role is categorized as hybrid. This means the successful candidate is expected to report to Global Technical Center three times per week, at minimum.
What You’ll Do:
Sustainable Workplaces is charging ahead with a new mission! As part of our exhilarating program, you’ll gain first-hand experience working closely with leadership to support and lead projects such as process improvements, cost saving efficiencies, standardized data, technology research, and the validation of a new Industrial Engineering (IE) tool that supports the life cycle of facility services towards a sustainable future. This position includes collaborating and visiting GM manufacturing and non-manufacturing sites. There’s never been a more exciting time to join the Sustainable Workplaces team!

Required Qualifications:

Pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Facilities Management or Engineering such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent

Expected graduation between December 2025 and May 2028

Able work fulltime, 40 hours per week

Compensation:
- The salary range for this role is $3,500-$4,700 monthly, dependent upon class status and degree.
- GM will provide a one-time lump sum taxable stipend payment to eligible students selected for the 2025 Student Program.
