This position is full - time. Employees are required to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST Monday – Friday & 7:am-4:00pm EST on Saturdays including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need.
We offer 7 weeks of paid training. The hours of the training will be 8am - 5pm EST.Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Make contacts to schedule a variety of specific medical and dental services in accordance with customer availability and contract guideline
- Respond to a variety of inquiries and resolves issues with regard to the appointment scheduling / fulfillment processing and service completion in a timely manner while maintaining sensitivity toward military culture
- Ask appropriate questions and listen actively to identify specific questions or issues while documenting required information in computer systems
- Contact care providers (doctor’s offices) on behalf of the customer to assist with appointment scheduling or connections with internal specialists for assistance when needed
- Assist customers in navigating UnitedHealth Group websites while encouraging and reassuring them to become self - sufficient in using our tools

Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma / GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be 18 years of age OR older
- 1+ years of customer service experience
- Familiarity with using computer and Windows personal computer applications, which includes the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
- Ability to work any 8-hour shift between the hours of 7:00 AM - 8:00 PM EST Monday-Friday & 7:00am-4:00pm EST including the flexibility to work occasional overtime and weekends based on business need
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in a related environment (i.e., office, administrative, clerical, etc.), using phones and computers as the primary job tools
- Prior health care experience

- Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable)
- Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy.
- Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service.

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
