CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide.
The Security, Risk & Compliance team is looking for a motivated and experienced leader to join our team to manage and lead supplier traceability operations for the Microsoft Cloud supply chain. We are hiring a Supply Chain Traceability Operations Manager. The Supply Chain Traceability Operations role will be responsible for mapping and tracing the end-to-end journey of suppliers and products within the Cloud supply chain. This role involves identifying all parties involved in the manufacture, production, or mining roles, as well as intermediaries such as traders, logistics companies, and exporters and the form factor of the product as it moves through the manufacturing cycle. This role will enable visibility into the provenance of products and manage the day-to-day operations of incident response and reasonable care operations.

- Drive the development and maintenance of a comprehensive map of the Cloud supply chain, identifying all relevant parties and products.
- Implement traceability operations that collects and maintains evidence that tracks the movement of materials through the supply chain, from mine to finished product.
- Manage reasonable care operations and collaborate with compliance to deliver governance and drive implementation of supplier due diligence for n-tier suppliers and product assessments.
- Manage traceability incident response.
- Provide thought leadership and drive innovation for upstream traceability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Microsoft Corporate standards (i.e. Supply Chain Integrity, Corporate Trade, Cloud Business Legal).
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance traceability processes and systems.
- Represent Microsoft in multi-stakeholder collaborations on relevant traceability policies and regulations.

Required Qualifications
- 8+ years experience in Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, Operations, Auditing, and/or Finance
- OR Bachelor's Degree AND 6+ years experience in Risk Management, Privacy, Security, Compliance, Government Intelligence, Operations, Auditing, and/or Finance
- OR equivalent experience

These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications
- 8+ years’ experience in Risk Management, Supply Chain Operations, Provenance, Compliance, or related field
- MS, MBA, J.D. or advanced degree
Risk Management IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $115,000 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $146,200 - $219,200 per year.
