As part of the Gaming Digital Sales team, the Battle.net and PC Commercial team is seeking a Commercial Manager to drive revenue growth for digital content and support in-game activities on PC digital platforms and storefronts, such as Battle.net and Steam. How you can make an impact
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build and drive go-to-market plans to maximize product releases and key lifecycle marketing beats in a high-impact environment
- Provide decision support on optimal release timing, pricing, and promotional activities for digital product releases and share insights on future digital product development and digital product configurations
- Translate data and insights to optimize reach, engagement, and monetization for Battle.net and PC platforms
- Collaborate with colleagues to help define growth via new Commercial features and functionality across Battle.net
Core Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Marketing Teams to develop comprehensive go-to-market plans for new releases and catalog titles
- Regularly review and report on Battle.net merchandising strategy and performance; present results to stakeholders with a goal of continuous learning and improvement, levelling up our data-driven understanding of Battle.net merchandising, commercial features and functionality
- Manage commercial relationships with third-party digital storefronts and work to secure premium merchandising and marketing support for every game release and major update from digital storefronts tied to key announcements and marketing activities
- Track, report and analyze the performance of go-to-market initiatives and develop strategies based on insights and learnings
- Perform analysis on market trends along with competitor programming and promotions to help inform new strategic opportunities
- Facilitate global wholesale pricing matrix across relevant digital storefronts
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years of relevant experience requiring account management, go-to-market planning and strategic analysis
- OR Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Social Science or related field AND 2+ years of experience in business or marketing-related roles
- OR Master’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related field AND 1+ years of experience in business or marketing-related roles
- OR equivalent practical experience
- Experience developing and implementing comprehensive go-to-market plans for product launches and reporting on key performance indicators and sharing actionable insights
- High level of professional integrity, commitment to quality, and respect for a diverse work environment
Preferred/Additional Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant experience in account management, go-to-market planning and strategic analysis
- Applies strong attention to detail and the ability to lead projects, drive results and effectively manage stakeholders, fostering collaboration, ensuring alignment and navigating complexities to successfully deliver desired outcomes
- Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data analysis techniques to draw data-driven actionable insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making
- Possesses experience in experimentation and A/B testing methodologies, using a data-driven approach to design, execute, and analyze experiments, optimizing outcomes and driving continuous improvement
- Exhibits executive presence to craft and deliver impactful internal and external presentations, engaging diverse audiences to effectively convey complex concepts and insights
- Possesses experience in the gaming industry or an ability to exhibit a deep understanding of the gaming industry from personal experience

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $87,480.00 - $161,910.00 Annual. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location. Your Talent Professional can share this role’s range details for your local geography during the hiring process. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
