Job Overview:
A System Engineer is responsible of release, operation and monitoring of Java applications on Linux servers
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing Java applications on Linux systems
- Analyzing application logs to find problems and solve them
- Tuning applications to improve performance and optimize resources utilization
- Designing and managing monitoring and logging tools
- Troubleshooting of infrastructure and architecture problems.
Technology - RedHat Linux
- Bash scripting
- Java applications management
- Cloud computing (AWS)
- Kubernetes
- Logging/Monitoring tools (Opensearch Suite, Grafana)
Functional & Technical Skills
- Deep knowledge of network protocols
- Linux systems commands
- Strong proficiency in implementing Cloud solutions (AWS)
- Knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD principles and practices and tools
- Deep knowledge of JVM Tuning
- Creating bash scripts to automate process
- Implementing a relevant application monitoring
- Growth mindset and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and frameworks
