A military talent pathway into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Turn your military technical experience into your next career.
You’ve built technical skills in environments where reliability, teamwork, accountability, and mission execution matter. Catalyst Military is designed to help you put that experience to work at Oracle.
Oracle’s Catalyst Military talent program creates a pathway for transitioning and recently separated service members, veterans, National Guard members, and Reservists to build careers supporting Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
Prior commercial data center experience is not required.
We’re looking for candidates with at least four years of relevant technical experience, gained through military service or through a combination of military service and other relevant technical experience.
Relevant experience may include information technology, networking and communications, electronics, aviation maintenance, electrical or cooling systems, equipment maintenance, or technical troubleshooting.
What Makes Catalyst Military Different
A career, not an internship. You’ll join Oracle as a Senior Data Center Support Services Technician and be paid from day one.
A bridge from military to commercial technology. Prior commercial data center experience is not required. Your military technical experience provides the foundation, and Catalyst Military helps you apply that experience within Oracle’s data center environment.
Structured support from the start. Your first six weeks include Oracle onboarding, technical foundations, supervised hands-on on-the-job training (OJT), manager coaching and feedback, and cohort-based learning.
Recognition of the experience you already bring. We evaluate the technical skills, troubleshooting ability, operational discipline, and experience you’ve developed—not simply your MOS, AFSC, NEC, or rating.
Your First Six Weeks with Catalyst Military
Catalyst Military provides a structured six-week technical transition designed to build on your existing experience while introducing you to Oracle’s data center environment.
During your first six weeks, you’ll:

- Participate in supervised, hands-on OJT.
- Learn Oracle technologies, tools, processes, and operational practices.
- Apply your existing troubleshooting and technical skills within a commercial data center environment.
- Receive ongoing coaching, support, and feedback from your manager.
- Learn alongside a cohort of Catalyst Military participants making a similar career transition.
- Progressively build the Oracle-specific knowledge needed to contribute successfully within the data center environment.
You’re not starting over. You’re building on what you already know to launch your next technical career.
