Job Description
As an IRS operation processor, you will be working within strict deadlines in a fast-paced production environment processing payments received from the IRS doing data entry and mail extraction. This is a cross-functional position that provides production support to multiple groups within Operations Services or enterprise wide.
This role will require an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Clearance to start employment. Typically, this process can take anywhere between 6 - 8 weeks, however, may vary.

- You're able to be on their feet 8+ hours per day and have the ability to lift at least 50 pounds on a routine basis.
- This is a full-time, third shift: Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 pm - 7:00 am.
First month of training will be day shift hours (typically but not a guarantee) 8-5 M-F.
Overtime may be required at times, specifically during the IRS peak months. (i.e. April)

This is a cross-functional position that provides production support to multiple groups within Operations Services or enterprise wide. Executes a variety of routine tasks within multiple operational systems and interacts with multiple internal partners. Duties may include functions related to transaction processing, data entry, archiving, researching, machine troubleshooting and vendor/client interaction over the phone or email. May have direct contact with third-party vendors and/or external customers. Research exceptions and escalate issues to management as appropriate. May have the opportunity to recommend and implement developed processing improvements within production. Certain positions will require the ability to move trays and carts of work, stand or sit for extended periods of time, and repetitive motions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Pre-extraction processing reconciliation payments and supplemental documents for multiple accounts.
2. Operate light machinery by scanning, sorting, prepping, keying payments and supplemental documents into our system to process.
3. Processing and depositing checks and invoices received by mail as well as review checks/invoices for special instructions given by customers and determine the appropriate item handling.

Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One to two years of related work experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Proficient typing, and accuracy, and 10-key skills.
- Excellent time management skills and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work in a cross functional, collaborative team environment and independently.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications
- Thorough knowledge of applicable bank and department policies, procedures, products and support systems
- Proven commitment to high quality customer service
- Ability to work well with external and internal customers
- Good time management skills to maximize production and execution of tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to identify, analyze and resolve exceptions through data interpretation
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
