What You Will Do:
This position will be supporting the Core Manufacturing OpX team in data science and front end software development to build reports and applications for the Operations Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering communities. A front-end developer is responsible for designing and implementing user interfaces (UI) and user experiences (UX) for applications and services. This role requires expertise in data science and front-end development to create scalable and responsive interfaces that interact with resources and various internal data systems and structures.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and product/process managers, to understand project requirements and translate them into functional and appealing user interfaces.
- Design and develop responsive web interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize application performance.
- Integrate front-end components with back-end services and APIs, ensuring seamless data exchange and functionality.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of front-end applications to ensure optimal functionality and user experience across different devices and browsers.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor degree plus 8 years experience
- Proven experience as a front-end developer, with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Knowledge of Python programming and database management.
- Experience with cloud platforms
- Knowledge of APIs and experience in integrating front-end components with back-end services.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and experience building interfaces that work seamlessly across multiple devices and screen sizes.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and best practices, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers.
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.
The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
