Overview
The Journeyman Painter/Engineer will perform exterior painting projects, basic maintenance, safety inspections and repairs to varying types of equipment and reports to the Chief Engineer.
This position is 90% exterior work
Pay Range is: $66.27/HR
The pay listed is the salary range for this position. An offer will vary based on the applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, and alignment with market data.

Basic Qualifications:
- Commercial Journeyman Painter - 7 years' experience minimum
- Must possess a valid, unexpired driver's license
- Must possess engineering license in the state, county or city jurisdiction in which work will be performed
Preferred Qualifications: - Basic Mechanical knowledge
- Plumbing and Electrical experience preferred
- Prior construction experience
Responsibilities: - Follow safe practices and complies with company and regulatory standards
- Must be proficient in preparation for all surfaces. Sanding, Scraping Ect. Masking and Taping
- Prepping & Painting: Handrail, light poles, metal doors. bollards.
- Prepping & Refinishing wood handrails, Docks and Decks
- Prepping & Painting cement flower and tree planters.
- Proficient with all painting applications: Brush, rollers, spray equipment
- Proficient with all types of paint, primers, stains and sealers
- Power Washing
- Proficient in using power and hand tools. Drills, Saws, Sanders etc.
- Basic construction skills.
- Framing. wood and metal
- Drywall/Sheetrock installation and repair
- Tape & Mud, texture and smooth wall.
