Overview
The Enterprise Operational Risk Management Division identifies, assesses, measures, mitigates, monitors, and reports organizational risks through strategic oversight of Business Unit Risk, Third-Party Risk Management, Business Resiliency Management, and Asset Risk Assessment. These programs use data-driven risk management and enterprise risk management tools to strengthen risk awareness, improve consistency, and support proactive management of strategic and operational risks.
The Summer Associate will support Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) activities by assisting with program guidelines, process documentation, reporting materials, stakeholder communications, training materials, and opportunities to improve TPRM processes and supporting tools. Working within established program guidelines, the Summer Associate will help promote consistent adoption of TPRM requirements, collaborate with business units, risk owners, subject matter experts, and other enterprise partners, and contribute insights that support proactive operational risk management and sound decision-making across third-party risk activities.
Potential projects may include:
- Support TPRM program documentation and process improvements by summarizing updates, organizing materials, and identifying opportunities to improve clarity, consistency, and adoption.
- Assist with project coordination by tracking action items, timelines, status updates, and deliverables.
- Support the development of stakeholder communications and training materials that explain TPRM requirements, processes, and expectations.
- Gain exposure to third-party risk management by supporting vendor risk assessments, engagement with risk management subject matter experts, and related process activities.
- Compile and analyze TPRM data to inform program reporting, dashboards, program materials, and opportunities to improve risk management processes and supporting tools.
The Summer Associate Program is a 12-week internship program beginning in May 2027 and ending in August 2027. Students will contribute to meaningful projects and work during their internship. To qualify for this position, applicants must be currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university and have an anticipated graduation date of December 2027 or later.

Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a degree in Operational Risk Management, Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Familiarity with risk management best practices, risk and control concepts, third-party risk management, or related risk disciplines
- Familiarity with creating clear business materials, such as process maps, presentations, standard operating procedures, training guides, and other documents that explain processes or requirements
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
