Job Description
The Global Small Business team at Visa will be responsible for overseeing and driving Visa’s small business strategy, leading small business thought leadership, managing the segment P&L, and most importantly, developing and executing on the global sales pipeline. The team is meant to work cross-functionally and be multidisciplinary in skillet.
Within the Global Small Business team, the Performance Management function is responsible for managing the reporting and analytics on global SMB financial performance, finding and executing strategic initiatives to improve overall performance (e.g., implement processes improvements, finding new business opportunities in our existing portfolio), and overall supporting business planning and operations. We are seeking the right candidate to join our new and dynamic team to build the infrastructure and lead strategic initiatives, partnering with global and regional VCS teams.
Essential Functions
- Performance management: Design, build, and maintain a reporting infrastructure on key performance metrics including, but not limited to, payment volumes, value-added services, product penetration, and pipeline build, to roll this into a singular aggregated report on Visa’s performance month over month, quarter over quarter, and year over year.
- Executive presentation support: Contribute to delivering performance reports on a regular cadence for internal consumption and any ad hoc/ on-demand reporting needed to support executive teams.
- Ad hoc analysis: Drive analysis and due diligence to provide key business insights for high-priority initiatives (e.g. competitive intelligence, sizing opportunities, and evaluating impact for strategic initiatives)
- Planning: Assist in evaluating global and regional initiatives to increase revenue
- Leadership: Work within cross-functional and cross-regional VCS teams
The position will work closely with and lead key relationships, requiring highly effective collaboration and influencing, and driving results in a matrix environment and across Visa's global organization.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Experience in and/or significant exposure to the payments industry is not required, but a plus
- Self-starter who can drive a project forward independently. You are willing to roll up your sleeves, take ownership, and are focused on delivering results
- Natural collaborator, team oriented, diplomatic, and flexible, with demonstrated capacity to function in a matrixed organization that spans multiple geographies.
- Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and adept at multi-tasking.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Strong analytical, teamwork, leadership, and critical thinking skills
- Relevant work experience in management consulting, strategy, finance, or operations
- Analytical experience and ability to learn excel, Power BI, and MS Dynamics
- Experience developing presentations for senior audiences
- Ability to influence successfully in a matrixed and virtual organization
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 113,700.00 to 160,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
