Job Summary
Under direct supervision, you will be responsible for completing routine tasks as directed. Your duties will include maintaining accurate property records of assets and government property, handling close-out and property disposition responsibilities, and ensuring compliance with all government regulations.
This position is 100% on site, no remote work. Must be a US Citizen. Relocation assistance is not authorized.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Create property disposition schedules in PIEE for DCMA contracts
- Create shipping documents for Government, Customer, and Company assets.
- Assist in utilization reviews to identify excess and/or obsolete property assets.
- Create and provide property closeout certification to both internal and external entities.
- Coordinate Government support during the disposition process when DEMIL and scrap certification is needed.
- Create asset property records and maintain the asset records in the Government Property Management database.
- Assist in providing training for Program personnel and assigned Property Custodians to ensure understanding of property policies and procedures.
- Assist in the physical inventory of Government and Customer assets and materials to ensure accuracy of the property records and compliance with property procedures and contractual requirements.
- Update asset records throughout the lifecycle events in the Government Property Management database.
Basic Qualifications
- Must be a US Citizen
- Bachelor’s degree.
- In lieu of formal education, 4 years of relevant experience.
- Must have strong computer skills using Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to lift 35lbs solo and operate a pallet jack.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of FAR 52.245-1 and DFARS Part 252.
- Working knowledge of UID registry, DCMA eTools, and PIEE.
