The Boeing Company is seeking Associate or Mid-level United States Air Force (USAF) Mission Planners to join their Flight Support Services team at Andrews Air Force Base, MD. In this position you will be supporting the 89th Airlift Wing Operation Group (AW OG) with ground-based logistics planning and flight dispatch services.
Position Responsibilities:
Monitors trip planning services tasks and ensures that tasks are updated accurately.
Communicates with destination facilities to ensure appropriate support is arranged for arriving flights.
Coordinates domestic and international customs including advanced passenger information system set up.
Follows active flights and provides crucial update information to destination airports, foreign and domestic.
Provides customers status of upcoming trips.
Prepares and transmits routine flight plans and weather information.
Acquires, distributes, and interprets for air crew a wide variety of publications required to ensure safe flight and to comply with governmental regulations.
Maintains customer operational files, chasing handling, overflight and landing requests, hotel bookings and crew transport.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Andrews AFB, MD.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
This position is contingent upon award.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
FAA Dispatcher Certificate or the ability to obtain FAA Dispatcher Certificate within 1 year of hire
3+ years of experience in mission planning
3+ years of experience in a customer service role
Fluent in verbal and written communications skills in English
Ability to work variable shifts; including days, evenings, nights and weekends, as this Mission Planning team will be maintaining 24/7/365 coverage
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 3: 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
5+ years of experience in mission planning
5+ years of experience in a customer service role
Typical Education & Experience:
Level 2:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience , 7 years' related work experience, etc.).
Level 3:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range (Level 2): $68,850 – $93,150
Summary pay range (Level 3): $85,000 – $115,000
