Business Case Analyst

Here, you’ll have the chance to work with an Agile team as they develop use cases and products to support your clients’ most pressing missions. We’re looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.
As a Business Case Analyst on our team, you’ll analyze your client’s current operating environment and identify areas for improvement. You’ll facilitate discussions with leadership, engineers, analysts, and support staff to help refine your client’s definition of success and identify current frustrations. You’ll help with portfolio management, enterprise licensing, and acquisition support, facilitate workshops, and communicate your research and illustrative analysis using resource analysis, business case analysis, surveys, and data calls, and review IT programs and investments to help establish understanding and agreement from key stakeholders.
Using technical expertise in statistical, mathematical, econometric, or operations research methods and concepts, you’ll provide your client with recommendations along with a firm grasp of the quantitative or qualitative results they can expect. This is your chance to grow experience in portfolio management, enterprise licensing, and service integration while deepening your process improvement and project management skills.

You Have:
Experience with business analytics in a DoD environment
Experience with creating decision papers that are easy to comprehend regardless of complexity of the issues or data
Experience with software licenses, including the procurement or acquisition of software licenses and their regulations
Knowledge of Business Case Analysis and Cost Benefit Analysis
Knowledge of enterprise licensing models and agreements
Knowledge of assessing and prioritizing IT projects in a portfolio
Ability to translate open-ended guidance into actionable objectives or problem statements, courses of action, and criteria
Ability to breakdown complex decisions, costs, and benefits into analyses

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $42,600.00 to $87,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
