Are you ready for an exciting adventure? Leidos is seeking an Data Entry Clerkto beresponsible for the entry, maintenance, and quality assurance of personal data and other travel details of National Science Foundation (NSF) Grantee, subcontractor, and Antarctic Support Contract (ASC) personnel deploying to Antarctica.
This is a HYBRID POSITION and will require in office support on a weekly basis. Expectation is typically 3 days a week in the office, 2 remote.
This role is covered by the Service Contract Act. The pay range for this position will be $22.00 per hour to $28.00 per hour.
Your Main Objective:
- Enter data from source documents into Pipeline (participant database), files and forms
- Collect, compile and sort documents for data entry
- Verify information with participants and correct data where necessary
- Check completed work for accuracy – a high level of accuracy is critical
- Obtain further information for incomplete documents
- Interfaces with personnel from the National Science Foundation, Grantees, ASC employees, subcontractors, and other USAP Participants by telephone, e-mail and in person, in a professional and tactful manner.
- Updates and maintains deployment records for all USAP participants deploying through Christchurch, New Zealand and Punta Arenas, Chile.
- Scan documents into document management systems or databases
- Filing documents into a digital and physical filing system
- Generate weekly reports on participant data and completion of personnel files to Travel team
- Respond to requests for information and access relevant files
- Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace program and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
- Tracks and maintains Antarctic Service Medal Database and ensures timely delivery of Antarctic Service Medals to proper recipients
- Properly document all communications.
- Acts immediately to resolve discrepancies.
- Ensures all Private Identification Information (PII) with the utmost discretion and confidentiality, to include: dates of birth, home addresses, and travel information.
- Employees and contractors may, in the course of performing their official duties, have access to a wide variety of personal identifiable and sensitive information (PII/SI) electronically and in hard copy.
- Personal and sensitive data including Social Security numbers, date and place of birth, demographic data, home addresses/telephone numbers/personal email addresses, passport numbers, bank account numbers, performance reviews, reviewer identity tied to performance reviews, unfunded proposals, proprietary parts of funded proposals, and other similar information should be protected according to Federal regulations and United States Antarctic Program policy, and only disclosed in accordance with the United States Antarctic program requirements.
- Maintaining and updating the database system and procedures as necessary
- Performs other duties as required.
What Sets You Apart:
- Typically requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1-3 years’ experience working with MS office products (especially MS Excel).
- Some remote work possible, but must be able to work in Centennial, Colorado office most weekdays.
- Must be able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, if requested by the customer. Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.
