Position Overview
A Staff Engineer will enter our Construction Division Accelerated Development Program (CDADP). Staff Engineers rotate through office and project assignments that provide experience in the following areas: engineering, estimating, supervision, field engineering, project controls, safety, and equipment. This position provides new employees the opportunity to become proficient with Primavera scheduling, AutoCAD, and HCSS Heavy Bid software.

This position could be based in various: NJ, NY, CT, LA, VA & TX.
Responsibilities
• Develop scope of knowledge, skills and understanding of WMI operations, policies, and procedures
• Assist in project startup, field engineering, scheduling, contracts administration, safety, estimating, engineering of temporary structures, and auto-cad drawings for construction means and methods
• Project submittal preparation and review
• Follow company and work site safety policies/procedures and commits to an “Incident and Injury Free” work environment

Qualifications
• 0-3 years of experience with a Degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Technology, or Coastal Engineering
• Experience with AutoCAD, Solidworks, Primavera and HCSS Heavy Bid preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to work a 40-hour work week with additional hours as required by project
• This position requires fluent use of the verbal and written English language
Physical Requirements
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, climb, kneel, crawl, stoop and/or sit.
• Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for long periods of time
• Ability to navigate around the office to use equipment as needed
• Light lifting (Up to 20 lbs.) as needed

Base Compensation: 87,500.00 - 90,155.00
