Job Summary
Ford Motor Company is hiring Hourly Production Team Members for its Chicago Assembly operations. This role supports vehicle and vehicle-component assembly by following established production processes, using hand and power tools, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Assemble vehicle or component parts according to established procedures.
- Use hand tools, power tools, scanners, hoists, and related equipment.
- Select, position, and attach parts accurately on the assembly line.
- Inspect parts and completed work for defects or quality issues.
- Follow written and verbal instructions and maintain required production pace.
- Work collaboratively with team members while following workplace safety procedures.
- Maintain an organized and safe production area.
Requirements
- Ability to learn and follow standardized production procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand, reach, bend, twist, and maneuver around vehicles or components.
- Ability to identify parts, components, and quality issues.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Successful completion of required pre-employment assessment, drug screen, physical, and background check.
