We are currently seeking a Staff Accountant who will maintain the accuracy and integrity of financial records for APi Group. This role involves preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with monthly closing processes. The Staff Accountant will support the company's financial integrity by upholding internal controls and identifying process improvements. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
To include, but not limited to the following:
- Provide support to the Corporate Controller’s office, contributing to various accounting functions and strategic initiatives.
- Assist in executing the monthly closing process, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and processing necessary adjustments.
- Manage the accounting for intercompany transactions, investments, and notes, including preparing consolidation elimination entries.
- Assist with the preparation and verification of financial disclosures and tie-outs for various Company filings, such as 10-Q and 10-K reports, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Collaborate with the APi Controller’s office, FP&A, and subsidiaries to identify and address process inefficiencies.
- Coordinate and respond to audit requests and manage the upload and organization of relevant information on the SharePoint intranet site.
- Generate and analyze monthly and quarterly accounts receivable reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment.
- Experience with financial reporting, account reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.

Benefits and Compensation:
This role will be eligible for hybrid work flexibility based out of our New Brighton office. The pay range is $50,200 - $75,300, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well-being of you and your family.
