Saleslink is a leading National manufacturer’s sales representative. We have an immediate opening for a Regional Sales Manager. This position provides a unique opportunity to sell and support strong National brands at key retail hardware and independent home centers in the Pacific Northwest(OR, WA & ID). The ideal candidate would be centrally located in/around the Portland area.
As Regional Sales Manager you be driving new business by building and maintaining key account relationships allowing for incremental sales growth. Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience:
Minimum of 3 year of relevant work experience in a similar role preferred
Duties:
· Develop & grow relationships with store associates, managers/owners at store level
· Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities to present to customer base
· Meet with customers to assess needs and understand where key brands might fit
· Conduct product training and demonstrations to educate store associates on product features & benefits
· Document customer interactions and maintain data related to activities & accounts
· Develop and review long- and short-term ales strategies for territory
· Attend semi-annual trade shows
Skills and Abilities:
· Key account development in the Hardware/Home Center experience is preferred
· Must be goal driven, self-motivated and can operate independently and as part of a team
· Ability to collaborate with suppliers and customers to establish and execute regional sales goals
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Proven aptitude in problem solving
· Skilled at Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint & Salesforce/CRM
· Ability to work some weekends
· Some overnight travel is required
· Valid Driver’s License required

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
