Collins Aerospace, a business unit of Raytheon Technologies, is seeking a strong candidate to join the Power and Controls segment, on the CMS (Collins Management System) Supply Chain team (CSCL).
The successful candidate will be the supply chain lead for the MPC (Mechanical Power Conversion) business area in Rockford, IL. As such they will be the single point of contact into the supply chain organization for their Operations counterpart. Working together, the operations focal will share their highest priority supply challenges for their site, and the supply chain lead will coordinate with supply chain teams across Power & Controls (procurement, supplier development, raw materials, quality, etc) to remove roadblocks, ensure all avenues for resolution are being pursued, and share the latest status on critical parts with their operations counterpart.
- This position will be the direct conduit between MPC operations and supply chain.
- This role also has accountability for the creation and execution of a supply chain strategy tied to business area supply chain performance and future growth.
- Strong communication and project management skills are essential in this role, as it is the forward-facing supply chain individual accountable to the site which it supports.
- Quickly assimilate new information, processes, systems and tools
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Able to keep on top of the details of multiple, concurrent issues/projects at various stages and drive to resolution
The position supports work that covers a variety of shifts in a 24-hour/seven-day schedule, as such, there may be a need to support work on occasional nights and / or weekends.
What You Will Do
- Thorough understanding of your site’s critical parts, barriers to delivery, latest status, and ensure your counterpart in operations is kept informed of key developments
- Work with internal teams to improve quality and delivery schedule from suppliers
- Develop and execute a supply chain strategy for your plant site
- Provide data/input in support of monthly sales & operations planning
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience oran Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required

Qualifications We Prefer
- Reading and understanding drawings and other technical documents
- Experience with SAP, specifically executing and interpreting supply chain and planning reports
- Experience with root cause/ corrective action analysis (RCCA)
- Experience in the aerospace industry

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
