Job Description
The Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team is focused on growing the commercial payment flows. The B2B Acceptance Client Management team is responsible for building and expanding relationships with large B2B suppliers strategically important to ensuring growth of commercial payments.
The Sr. Director of North America Strategic B2B Suppliers will lead the North America team partnering closely with the largest corporates with direct Visa relationship. They will also manage a portfolio of exiting B2B suppliers and target new B2B suppliers for commercial acceptance.
- Lead a team managing a portfolio of the top 150 commercial merchants in the U.S. for B2B Acceptance.
- Focus on both hunting (targeting new commercial merchants) and farming (growing the existing portfolio).
- Take proactive ownership in identifying opportunities to initiate commercial acceptance.
- Identify B2B expansion opportunities and agreements with both accepting and non-accepting merchants/suppliers, and expand B2B commercial volume through acquisition/expansion, partnership, or relationship management.
- Engage with Visa executives, providing strategic and client insights.
- Concentrate on holistic Visa opportunities for cross-selling tools and solutions.
- Actively develop and negotiate acceptance deals with suppliers/merchants to establish Visa as the preferred method for commercial payments.
- Lead in deep analytics and deal-modeling, collaborate closely with regional Account Executives (AEs) and Business Developers (BDs), as well as Market Strategy & Analytics (MS&A), Pricing, and other functions.
- Build the right tracking tools with very strong analytical & written communication (deck writing)
- The location is flexible, with the option to be near any Visa office location.
- 20-40% Travel

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 10
years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA
/JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 12 years of
experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with
9+ years of experience
- Accomplished leader with over 12 years of comprehensive experience in
merchant acquisition, sales & business development, strategic planning, and
team leadership.
- Proven track record as a results-driven sales leader.
- Skilled in fostering and managing stakeholder relationships across expansive
businesses.
- Self-starter who can take lead the team and clients with proactive ownership
- Possesses strong business insight, commercial awareness, financial
intelligence, and the political acumen necessary to establish credibility and
lead key clients and stakeholders.
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities with a mindset geared towards
challenging norms.
- Extensive client management background, particularly within a consulting
framework and success managing multiple high-level stakeholders.
- Very strong analytical & written communication (deck writing)
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 153,800 to 278,850 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
